The company’s origin dates back to 2006, in which the current partners of the company, and at the height of the construction zest and spree, think about finding new business niches and looking for other markets to diversify activities.

That’s when they start reaching agreements with other companies, mainly from the Chinese market, by basing its business model in the export of electric bicycles and scooters.

In 2008, the company began to introduce various improvements in the products that it manufactured together with the partners in China, and it was in 2009 when the company named today as Tohqi Europe Ltd was officially set up to produce its own products.

So, the setting-up of the company results from years of experience in manufacturing and sales, and     appears with the main objective to manufacture and sell electric vehicles.

Tohqi Europe maintains that probably one of the aspects that we can makes us stand out from the competition is the R & D + i, that is why the company devotes much of its resources to it, with a highly qualified staff certified by AENOR with the “R & D + i of researchers” certificate.

Another of the important pillars of the company is quality. That is why we have the ISO9001: 2008 for production issued by Lloyd’s Register.
